The Nocenta Pisetta Museum is situated in the city of Chilecito, La Rioja, Argentina. It is named after the Italian sculptor Inocenta Turra de Pisetta, who made Chilecito her home. The museum showcases a variety of clay figures and also operates as a tourist inn.
The museum was inaugurated on May 1, 1992. Six years later, in 1998, the Temple of the Child was opened to the public. This is a large nativity scene that took the sculptor 25 years to complete. It is a testament to the dedication and skill of Inocenta Turra de Pisetta.
The museum features a variety of representations, including those of the artist's family, children, and literary and regional characters. Some of the notable works that can be seen include "Maternity", "Virgin of the Valley", "Changuito with honda", and "Diaguita Indian", along with an impressive representation of the Last Supper.
