The Pinacoteca Rambaldi is an Italian museum situated in the Coldirodi district of the city of Sanremo, in the province of Imperia. The museum was established in 1865 and is a significant cultural landmark in the region.
The Pinacoteca Rambaldi houses a collection of a hundred paintings that span from the 15th to the 19th century. Notable works include the 'Madonna with Child' attributed to Lorenzo di Credi from Verrocchio's workshop, 'The Holy Family' by Fra Bartolomeo della Porta, 'Saint Sebastian helped by the Pious women' by Michele Rocca, and paintings by Salvator Rosa including 'The temptations of Saint Anthony'. The collection also features 'The Holy Family in domestic chores' by Jacopo Vignali and several portraits by Anton Raphael Mengs.
In addition to the art collection, the Pinacoteca Rambaldi also houses a library with over five thousand volumes. This includes precious incunabula, sixteenth-century books, and rare manuscripts that were collected by Paolo Stefano Rambaldi throughout his life.
