The Period Rooms Museum is located in the Palace of Aponi in Bratislava. The Palace of Aponi is a Rococo house and a national cultural monument in the Old Town of Bratislava, now part of the Old Town Hall. Count Juraj Aponi (from Oponice) built the palace between 1761 and 1762. In 1867 the palace was bought by the city for the municipality. The museum inside the palace presents the history of Bratislava.
