The Peel Museum is a museum in the Peel (an area in Brabant and Limburg) where the life and work of the beginning of the last century is exhibited. During a visit to the museum, there is always a guide present if desired who can tell the story of the peat extraction and the subsequent extraction. The museum is located in an authentic building from the 1930s, in which the DUW workers (service execution works) were housed at the time. These people were brought here to win the peat from the Peel.
