Located on Ford Island, the museum houses an impressive collection of aircraft and artifacts in restored hangars that survived the 1941 attack.

Visitors consistently praise the well-preserved exhibits and the opportunity to see historic aircraft up close. While most visitors find the museum engaging and educational, some note that it can be overwhelming due to the amount of information presented. A few reviewers mention that certain areas of the museum could benefit from updates or renovations.

The museum's location on an active military base means visitors need to plan transportation, as personal vehicles are not allowed. Some find this aspect inconvenient, while others appreciate the authenticity it adds to the experience.
