The Parc aux Étoiles, CCSTI of Yvelines, is an exhibition dedicated to astronomy and space exploration. It is located in the park of the Château de la Tour in Triel-sur-Seine. The park was founded by Jean-Paul Trachier, who is also the founder of the Triel-sur-Seine observatory.
The Parc aux Étoiles welcomes both individual visitors and groups, including schools, extracurricular groups, and more. The park offers a variety of activities such as guided tours of the museographic space, scientific workshops, and scientific holiday courses.
The Parc aux Étoiles is home to the largest astronomical telescope in France, which is open to the public for observations. The park also features dioramas and three-dimensional models that give the illusion of movement and reality. These include 22,000 stars in colors and in three dimensions, and about thirty showcases in black light. The dioramas provide a comprehensive overview of space exploration and research, from the Big Bang to future explorations of the universe.
