The Austrian Wind Music Museum is situated in an old townhouse, known as City No. 15, directly in front of the Schöttltor. This preserved city gate is located on the old connecting road over the Alps to the north, adding a historical charm to the museum's location.
The Austrian Wind Music Museum showcases a wide array of objects from the history of Austrian wind music in its new showrooms. Spread over three floors and two to three special exhibition rooms, the museum covers approximately 600 square meters, offering visitors a comprehensive view of the evolution and significance of wind music in Austria.
