On November 7, 2022, Orsa Rovdjurspark was closed due to lack of revenue. The animals that were housed in the park were accommodated in other zoos.
Polar World at Orsa Rovdjurspark
Orsa Rovdjurspark had a four-hectare polar bear facility called Polar World. The aim of this facility was to establish a European polar bear breeding program.
Animal Diversity at Orsa Rovdjurspark
In addition to polar bears, Orsa Rovdjurspark housed a variety of other animals. These included wolves, lynxes, brown bears, Kamchatka bears, owls, leopards, and Siberian tigers.
