Openluchtmuseum Ootmarsum is a museum that illustrates life in the countryside of Twente from a hundred years ago. It consists of seventeen authentic buildings fully furnished with their own story. In addition to the typical Saxon farmhouses, the museum features outbuildings, including a blacksmith, a ‘bakspieker’, beehives, a wheelwright, car barns and cowsheds.
