The Old Pueblo Trolley is a non-profit educational corporation located in Tucson, Arizona. Its primary mission is to preserve the history of mass transit in the state. The organization is divided into three divisions: the Street Railway Division, the Motor Bus Division, and the Museum Division. Each division plays a specific role in preserving the state's mass transit history.
The Old Pueblo Trolley's streetcar line was inaugurated in 1993 and provided service until October 31, 2011. The service was suspended due to the construction of the Sun Link modern streetcar system. The trolley used to operate on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, covering just over a mile of single track line recovered from Tucson's original street railway.
The Motor Bus Division of the Old Pueblo Trolley is dedicated to the collection, restoration, and operation of historic motor buses. These buses are either representative of transit buses that were operated by carriers or public transit agencies in Arizona, or they have been documented to have been owned and operated by these entities. The collection includes more than 20 coaches, most of which are stored at Old Pueblo Trolley's 36th Street facility.
