The Ohr-O'Keefe Museum Of Art, located in Biloxi, Mississippi, is a non-profit art museum that is dedicated to the ceramics of George E. Ohr, who was known as the 'Mad Potter of Biloxi'. This museum is a tribute to his unique and innovative ceramic creations.
The Ohr-O'Keefe Museum Of Art is a five-building museum campus designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry. The design was intended to harmonize with the ancient live oak trees on the 4-acre site, creating a unique and visually appealing environment for visitors.
On November 8, 2010, three buildings on the east side of the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum Of Art campus were opened. These buildings house outstanding exhibitions, including a collection of George Ohr pottery from Gulf Coast collections, offering visitors a chance to appreciate the unique ceramic art.
