Northamptonshire Ironstone Railway
Source

Northamptonshire Ironstone Railway Trust Our heritage railway is based within the grounds of The Hunsbury Hill Country Park which is located at Hunsbury Hill, southwest of Northampton. The trust has a small museum and workshop, a cafe, children's play area and model railways to see, all of which are free to visit. The railway features a 1.5 mile long Heritage Railway line that runs through the park of which a small section has been approved for public use. The line features many sharp curves and steep gradients which were typical of the Industrial Railway. Rides are available in a variety of vehicles including a converted brake van.
