Nadermann Zoo, located in the Schöning district of Delbrück in North Rhine-Westphalia, is a privately owned zoo that has been in the family since its establishment in 1967. This long-standing family ownership has allowed the zoo to grow and evolve over the years, providing a unique and personal touch to the visitor experience.
Nadermann Zoo is home to a diverse range of animals, with approximately 600 individuals from about 100 different species. A significant part of the zoo's animal population is made up of predators, including cheetahs, lions, leopards, jaguars, and ocelots. This wide variety of species provides visitors with the opportunity to observe and learn about a broad spectrum of wildlife.
It's important to note that Nadermann Zoo is closed from November to March. This seasonal closure allows for necessary maintenance and care for the animals during the colder months. Visitors planning a trip to the zoo should ensure they check the opening times to avoid disappointment.
