Museum Vlaardingen is housed in the ‘Huis met den Lindeboom’, a former ‘redershuis’ from 1742. The museum illustrates the history and fishing culture of Vlaardingen. The collection consists of objects related to the North Sea and the history of the city, ship models, artefacts, paintings, drawings, photographs, posters and technical drawings. The museum also owns the historical sailing lugger VL 92 Balder.
