The Museum Pankow is a museum with two sites: Prenzlauer Allee and Heynstraße. Location Heynstraße is the former home of the manufacturer Fritz Heyn and features an exhibition on upper-middle class living in 1900, still with many decorations and furniture in their original state. The decoration and paintwork on the walls and ceiling of the drawing room and the study are very well preserved. Furthermore, the apartment features a typical "Berliner Zimmer" ("Berlin room"), a bathroom with tiled walls, a kitchen and a maid's chamber. Special exhibitions and events on aspects of middle-class life around 1900 complete the museum's offerings.
