The Centre d'histoire de la résistance et de la déportation (the Center for the History of the Resistance and Deportation), also called the Museumm of the Resistance is a museum in Lyon that is situated on the former site of a French military health school. The museum illustrates the French Resistance as well as Jewish deportation in the Second World War. The building itself, was occupied by Nazi Germany, when it was used to torture resistance members, including high-profile member of the Resistance Jean Moulin. The exhibitions of the museum is centered around 3 pillars, namely: commitment, information & propaganda and space & time.
