Museum Layout and Exhibits

The Museum of the Nationalist Forces in Balıkesir is housed in a two-story Ottoman building, with each floor spanning 120 square meters. The museum is divided into two sections. The ground floor displays conclusion documents, photos, and personal belongings of the 41 citizens who were instrumental in forming the Kuva-yi Milliye in Balıkesir. It also exhibits photos taken during Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's visit to the city on February 6, 1923. The upper floor is dedicated to showcasing archaeological artifacts and ethnographic items discovered in and around Balıkesir.
