The Museum of Photography Thessaloniki is the only museum dedicated to the art of photography in Greece and is housed in Warehouse A on the First Pier of the Port of Thessaloniki. The collections that the Museum of Photography Thessaloniki holds consist of more than 100,000 photographic objects, covering the period from 1890 until 1980. It includes works by Socrates Iordanidis, Yiannis Stylianou, Dimitris Letsios and part of the archives of Costas Balafas and Nelly’s and the Greek part of the Fred Boissonnas archive that belongs to the Hellenic Culture Organization.
