The Museum of Speed closed in 2018 to make way for the Pendine Tourism Attractor Project. This will feature a museum dedicated to Pendine’s dramatic role in the World Land Speed Record in the 1920s, when the sands witnessed an intense competition between Malcolm Campbell and J.G. Parry-Thomas.
