The Museum of Land Speed opened in May 2023. It is a state of the art museum featuring video displays as well as artifacts from the long history of speed events that took place at Pendine. This includes Pendine’s dramatic role in the World Land Speed Record in the 1920s, when the sands witnessed an intense competition between Malcolm Campbell and J.G. Parry-Thomas. But also includes automotive history from across the decades. A feature of the museum is the video cave which is a immersive experience where visitors can see how it would feel to race along the sands in BABS, Parry Thomas's land speed record setting car.
