The Museum of Food and Drink (MOFAD) is an educational non-profit organization based in New York City. The museum's mission is to alter the way people perceive food and drink. It does this by exploring the impact of food and beverages on our culture, politics, economy, history, and more.
In 2015, the museum received support from its first major sponsor, Infiniti, which helped fund a space for their first series of exhibitions. This space, known as MOFAD Lab, is a 5,000-square-foot gallery located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the closure of museums in New York City, including the MOFAD Lab, the museum had announced a collaboration with The Africa Center for an exhibit titled 'African/American: Making the Nation's Table'. Despite the shutdown, the museum held a series of public programs and the exhibit eventually opened in February 2022, featuring the Ebony Test Kitchen.

The Museum of Food and Drink (MOFAD) in New York offers an interactive experience focused on the history, culture, and science of food. Visitors appreciate the hands-on exhibits and the opportunity to taste various food samples. The museum's small size allows for an intimate exploration of its themed exhibitions, which change periodically. While some find the admission price a bit high for the current scale of the museum, many enjoy the educational value and the engaging way information is presented. The museum's location in Brooklyn is convenient for some but may require a bit of travel for others. Overall, MOFAD provides an informative and sensory-rich experience for food enthusiasts and curious visitors alike, though it may leave some wanting more extensive exhibits.
