Museum of Eton Life and its collection

The Museum of Eton Life uses objects, costume and ephemera to tell the story of life at Eton College from its foundation in 1440 to the present day. The museum brings to life the experience of learning, playing and living at Eton College across six centuries, setting the history and traditions of Eton alongside stories of daily life of students, staff and visitors. Housed in an undercroft once used to store beer for the King’s Scholars, the museum serves as a place for members of the public, visiting schools, prospective students, local residents and the college community to explore the social and historical context of the school.
