The Museum of Chinese Art and Ethnography is situated in Parma, Italy. It is housed within the mother house of the Saverian Missionaries, a religious order founded in 1895. The museum is considered one of the most important of its kind in Europe.
The museum is divided into five main exhibition areas. These include the entrance area, the temporary exhibitions area, the Kayapò area, the Africa area, and the China area. Each area is dedicated to showcasing different aspects of Chinese art and ethnography.
One of the highlights of the museum is its comprehensive collection related to the Kayapò people. This collection includes about 500 everyday objects, providing a unique insight into the culture and lifestyle of this Amazonian community.
