Museum G. Gounaropoulos (The Gounaropoulos Museum) is a museum in Athens that was founded in 1979. The museum is devoted to Greek artist Giorgos Gounaropoulos, who began painting in academic style, then was influenced by impressionism and Paul Cézanne, and eventually developed a very personal surrealistic style. The museum is housed in the artist's home and atelier, where it exhibits 40 oil paintings and drawings, his personal belongings and his archive.
