The Museum für zeitgenössische Kunst – Diether Kunerth is a contemporary art museum located in Ottobeuren. It has been operated by the Ottobeurer Museen, Kunst und Kultur e.V since the summer of 2016. The museum showcases the works of local artist Diether Kunerth and other contemporary artists.
The design of the museum was the work of Atelier Lohrer from Stuttgart, who won a competition against Stephan Braunfels Architects. The architectural integration of the museum area into the town center has been awarded two international architecture prizes.
The museum hosts two to three exhibitions per year. The inaugural exhibition was dedicated to the theme of Egypt, followed by an exhibition titled "The Face" in 2015. Since the third exhibition, the museum has been following a new concept of joint exhibitions by Kunerth and another artist or solo exhibitions by other artists.
