The Museum für mittelalterliche Rechtsgeschichte (Museum of Medieval Legal History, or Torture Museum) is a museum in Vienna that covers the history of European law with a focus on torture methods from the Middle Ages to the early modern period. The entrance of the museum leads to a bomb shelter from the Second World War with about 100 exhibits, spread over an exhibition area of around 800 square meters. The collection of this Torture Museum in Vienna includes the Iron Maiden, the rack, the pillory and the guillotine.
