Museum De Trije Gritenijen and its collection

Museum De Trije Gritenijen is located in the former town hall of Grouw. The museum is dedicated to the history of Mid Fryslรขn (Middle Friesland). There is a historical presentation of the eighteen villages in the municipality of Boarnsterhim. Among other things, the museum gives an overview of the life and works of the Bruorren Halbertsma, their significance for the Frisian language and the economy. The collection includes textiles, silver, gold and porcelain.
