The Museu Arqueológico do Rio Grande do Sul, also known as MARSUL, is a Brazilian museum situated in the city of Taquara, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The museum was officially established on August 12, 1966, and has since been a significant site for archaeological research and preservation.
Initially, the Museu Arqueológico do Rio Grande do Sul was housed in the residence of its founder, Eurico Miller. It was then relocated to an abandoned refrigerator for twelve years. In 1977, the museum was transferred to its current location, following a generous land donation from the municipality of Taquara.
