The Trompo Mágico is an interactive museum specifically designed for children and teenagers. It was established on April 30, 2003, and is located in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. The museum offers a variety of interactive exhibits that encourage active learning and participation, with a focus on arts, sciences, and culture.
The Trompo Mágico museum building spans an impressive 10 and a half hectares. It features pre-Columbian ornamental installations made of stone and other materials, as well as modern structures made of metal and glass. The museum's design includes circular surfaces, adding to its unique architectural appeal.
The Trompo Mágico museum is not just a place for viewing exhibits, but also a production site for the first stop-motion animation film made in Mexico. Visitors to the museum have the unique opportunity to witness the recording process of 'Inzomnia', a family fantasy and science fiction feature film.
