The Monumento Histórico Municipal y Museo Regional "El Porvenir" is situated in the southern part of the city of Villa Elisa, in the province of Entre Ríos, Argentina. It is conveniently located near the city center, making it easily accessible for tourists.
The museum building has a rich history, having served as a residence for its founder Héctor de Elía, his son Esteban, and later his grandson José María. The last residents were the family of Amaranto Viollaz and their successors.
On September 3, 1990, the museum was declared a Municipal Historic Monument. This recognition underscores the cultural and historical importance of the museum.
