The museum houses a significant collection of the artist's works, spanning various periods of his career. Visitors appreciate the well-curated exhibits that provide context to Picasso's artistic development. The museum's location in a beautifully restored 16th-century palace adds to its appeal, with many praising the building's architecture and atmosphere.
Most reviewers find the collection impressive, noting the variety of paintings, drawings, and sculptures on display. The chronological arrangement of the works allows for a clear understanding of Picasso's evolving style. Many visitors highlight the inclusion of some lesser-known pieces alongside more famous works.
The museum offers audio guides in multiple languages, which receive positive feedback for their informative content. However, some visitors mention that not all pieces have detailed descriptions, which can be a drawback for those seeking more in-depth information.
While many find the entrance fee reasonable, a few consider it slightly high. The museum can get crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons, which some visitors find detracts from the viewing experience.
