The museum offers a good balance between Goya's work and that of his contemporaries, giving visitors a broader understanding of the artistic context of the time. Audio guides are available and are generally considered helpful in navigating the collection.
On the downside, some visitors mention that the museum is relatively small compared to other major art institutions.
