The Museo Etnografico Petit-Monde, also known as the Ethnographic Museum of the Petit-Monde, is situated in the town of Torgnon in the Aosta Valley. This museum is a significant cultural site that offers a deep dive into the local history and traditions of the region.
The museum, recognized by MIBAC as the most complete museum ecosystem in the Aosta Valley, is composed of three wooden and stone buildings. These structures were built between the Late Middle Ages and 1700, providing a unique glimpse into the architectural styles and techniques of the period.
Visitors can explore the museum's collections free of charge by making an appointment. Additionally, the permanent exhibition is always open to the public. This exhibition is displayed in the lower part of the rascard, one of the museum's historical buildings.
