The Museo "El Templo del Fútbol" is a museum dedicated to the football and institutional history of the Asociación Atlética Argentinos Juniors. It was the second of three thematic museums dedicated to a club to open in the country, following the Boca Juniors museum and preceding the River Plate museum. The museum opened its doors to the public on November 25, 2009.
The museum is located under the stands of the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, on Gavilán street. The museum was an institutional initiative, seeking to further publicize the rich history of the institution through the exhibition of pieces loaned by members, fans, leaders, and former players of the institution.
One of the main attractions of the museum is the presence of the five trophies that the club has won professionally throughout its history. Among these is a replica of the Copa Libertadores de América, which the club won in Paraguay in 1985. Also on display is the trophy won in the Clausura of 2010, the last one obtained to date.
