Museo e Biblioteca della Resistenza

The Museo della Resistenza in Sansepolcro, established in 1977, serves as a center for studying and documenting the Resistance. This historical institution provides a deep insight into the local history and the resistance movement during the Second World War.

Library and Document Collection

The museum is home to a library that contains approximately 2500 volumes of local, contemporary, and resistance history. It also has a vast collection of documents from the period 1920 - 1945, and a newspaper library that houses complete series of magazines from the fascist and post-war period. This extensive collection provides a comprehensive view of the historical events and movements of the time.
