Museo Diocesano and its collection

Museo Diocesano di Bari (The Diocesan Museum of Bari) is a musuem in Bari that is lcoated in the spacious rooms on the first floor of the Episcopio. The musuem holds a collection of historical and cultural heritage objects related to the Christian root of the people from Bari. The physical location of the Museum brings the visitor back to the ancient cultural and religious times of the Latin Christianity of the Cathedral and the Episcopio. The museum is divided into five sections: a lapidary, an art gallery, a treasure, sacred vestments and the characteristic Exultet rolls.
