Museo d'Arte Moderna Ugo Carà

The Museo d'arte moderna Ugo Carà in Muggia is a museum dedicated to the life and works of the renowned sculptor and designer Ugo Carà. The museum was established in 2006, following Carà's decision to donate a significant number of his works to the municipality of Muggia. These works form the core of the museum's permanent collection, providing visitors with a comprehensive overview of Carà's artistic journey.

The Collection

In 2002, Ugo Carà made the decision to donate approximately a hundred of his works to the Municipality of Muggia. These works span a range of mediums, including sculpture and design. The collection, which includes around forty sculptures, thirty oil paintings and drawings, twenty medals, and five design objects, is divided into three sections. Each section provides a unique insight into a different aspect of Carà's artistic journey.
