Initially, the museum was dedicated to the works of painters Maurice Utrillo and Suzanne Valadon. The Musée Utrillo-Valadon opened its doors in 1995 in the Rozée villa, which used to be the town hall of Sannois. Until 2010, the museum showcased 34 canvases by Maurice Utrillo and five by his mother Suzanne Valadon. Additionally, visitors could see a reconstitution of Utrillo's workshop, providing a glimpse into the artist's creative process.
