The National Esperanto Museum in Gray, also known as Nacia Esperanto-Muzeo in Esperanto, was established in 1977 by Georges Junier, who is also known as Géo Junier. The museum was officially inaugurated in 1987, marking the centenary of the creation of the Esperanto language by Zamenhof. The event was graced by the presence of the Polish consul.

Collections at the National Esperanto Museum

The National Esperanto Museum is housed on a floor of the Maison Pour Tous, a renovated former college. The museum showcases a wide range of objects related to the Esperanto language. These include books, posters, newspapers, stamps, and promotional items among others.
