The Musée des Croyances Populaires is housed in the castle of Monastier-sur-Gazeille in Haute-Loire. The Musée des Croyances Populaires was conceived and created by Patrice Rey, a plastic artist and scriptwriter. Rey is responsible for the research, texts, illustrations, creation of figurines, scenography, and creation of books resulting from this work. His personal touch and dedication can be seen throughout the museum, adding a unique and authentic feel to the exhibits.
