The Taillanderie de Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne is a historical industrial building situated in Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne, in the French department of Doubs. This former factory, established in 1828, was once a hub for the production of cutting tools, serving the needs of the local farming community. Today, it stands as a testament to the region's industrial past.
The Taillanderie de Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne is located at a picturesque spot known as "La Doye", nestled on the banks of the "l'Arcange" stream, a tributary of the Lison. This serene location, slightly away from the village center, offers a peaceful and scenic environment for visitors.
Since the cessation of the taillanderie's activity in 1969, the site has been preserved in its original state. It has been meticulously restored to working condition, allowing visitors to experience the historical industrial processes first-hand. This offers a unique opportunity to step back in time and understand the region's industrial heritage.
