The Musée d'Histoire de Marseille (Marseille History Museum) is the local historical and archaeological museum of Marseille. The museum holds a collection of archaeological finds discovered when the site it is located on was excavated and other archaeological objects related to the history of Marseille up to the 18th century. A highlight in the museum is the hull of a ship of the 2nd century that is said to be the best preserved vessel in the world from this period.
