The John Wesley McElroy House, located in Burnsville, Yancey County, North Carolina, is a historic house museum. In 1987, the Yancey History Association purchased the John Wesley McElroy House. The Association undertook the task of restoring the building, which had fallen into disrepair. In 2003, the restored building was opened to the public as the Rush Wray Museum of Yancey County History.
