The Marietta History Center is located in the Kennesaw House, one of the oldest buildings in Marietta. Built in 1845, the building was initially intended to be a cotton warehouse before being converted into the Fletcher House hotel in 1855. Today, it serves as a testament to the city's rich history and is a significant landmark for visitors.

Inside the Marietta History Center

The Marietta History Center occupies the entire Kennesaw House. The first floor contains an event rental space, a Museum Store, and staff offices. The second floor features the Center's exhibits and gallery spaces, offering visitors a chance to delve into the city's past. The third floor houses the collections storage and additional staff offices.
