    We decided to take our family to The Shildon Locomotion as we visited the museum at York and enjoyed it. But truth be told, we were extremely disappointed with the Shildon Locomotion.

    The layout was dull. Our children were bored. There wasn't enough activities for the children at all.

    They have a decent collection of trains but the experiences as a whole was very poor and we shall not be visiting or recommending it to anyone else.
