The Localbahnmuseum Bayerisch Eisenstein is a railway museum situated in Bayerisch Eisenstein, Bavaria. It is managed by the Bayerische Localbahn Verein e. V., an organization that set up the museum between 1981 and 1994 in a historic locomotive shed. This provides a unique setting for the museum, adding to its charm and appeal for visitors.
The museum's collection includes 20 original locomotives and wagons dating from 1876 to 1955. In addition to these, visitors can also see draisines, signal boxes, signals, and many other original pieces of railway history.
