Housed in a restored 1902 Northern Pacific Railroad depot, the museum features exhibits on local transportation history, particularly focusing on the railroad's impact on Livingston and the surrounding area. Visitors appreciate the well-preserved architecture of the building and the informative displays that showcase vintage railroad equipment, photographs, and artifacts. The museum provides a good overview of how the railroad influenced the development of Livingston and its importance as a gateway to Yellowstone National Park. Some visitors note that while the museum is relatively small, it offers an interesting and educational experience for those interested in railroad history.
