Lincoln Park Zoo is home to just under 200 animals, including species such as the black bear, bald eagle, cougar, and lynx. This variety of animals provides a unique opportunity for visitors to observe and learn about different species in one location.
The Big Red Barn, built in 2000 with the support of the Manitowoc County Farm Bureau and Manitowoc County Dairy Promotions, is a unique feature of Lincoln Park Zoo. The barn houses a variety of young farm animals, on loan from local farmers, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn about and interact with these animals.
The Zoo's Education Center, located on the second floor of the Education and Animal Care Building, is home to a variety of Wisconsin native reptiles, insects, amphibians, fish, and birds. This center provides an educational experience for visitors, allowing them to learn about and observe these native species.
