From elephant skulls to a medieval log boat, mummy bandages and meteorites, the Discovery Centre offers a unique opportunity for hands-on exploration into the natural world, human history and ingenuity. Researchers are very welcome to enquire about objects, conservation and handling items with their curatorial team. If you have an object at home that you’d like to know more about the centre can try to help you, otherwise they can organise handling sessions with students and groups. They work with a range of community groups and are happy to book a tour or organise a session to fit your groups requirements. Leeds Discovery Centre is now a Give What You Can museum. We invite visitors to donate to support the museum if they are able. Donations can be made via our Tap to Give donations points on arrival or during your visit with contactless, Chip and Pin, cash and coins.
