La Salle University Art Museum and its collection

The museum houses six galleries, each showcasing a variety of art. The collections span from the Renaissance to the present and include both European and American art. This wide range of art periods and styles provides a comprehensive overview of art history.

Special Collections

In addition to its main collections, the museum also features special collections. These include paper, Japanese prints, rare illustrated Bibles, Indian miniatures, African carvings and implements, Pre-Columbian pottery, and Ancient Greek ceramics. Changing Exhibits

The Walking Madonna

One of the highlights of the museum is the Walking Madonna, a sculpture by the British artist Dame Elisabeth Frink. This is one of only four such sculptures in the world, making it a unique piece in the museum's collection.
