Established in 2002, the Kentucky River Museum is housed in the former lock operator's home and the storage and maintenance building for Lock 10. This lock is one of fourteen on the Kentucky River, originally built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The museum's unique setting provides a glimpse into the history of river navigation and engineering.
